MONO

MONO is a survey and celebration of one-off printmaking across the decades from Black and Brown Forms, 1955 by Wilhelmina Barns-Graham to Viewpoint, 2020 by Rosalind Lawless. MONO brings together over 30 artists working across many methods of printmaking in an exhibition of unique prints. The curators Scott Campbell and Calum McClure both work in monoprint and monotype respectively and have themselves created new work to be included in the exhibition. There are also inclusions from regular studio members Jila Peacock and Gregor Smith along with new work from emerging artists including Hannah Reynolds. The exhibition is a celebration of the wide-ranging qualities which can be achieved in printmaking and of artists using those techniques, not to produce multiples, but for the particular effects which can be produced through the various mediums.
